  JR is the only place for chicken it is the greatest chicken I have ever had. I enjoy going to the buffet I Bourbonnais Street. The chicken soup is one of my favorite things it can't be be not even by my own homemade. The macaroni salad is uniques totally unique. One thing I could do without though is the large bones with hardly if any meat on them and barbecue sauce I know I'm not the only one that has an issue with this because I've heard many comments in the restaurant itself on Tuesday's the day that they have these out. I'm suggesting that they replace it what some type of doable light up not bones. Been going there for years will continue to go there for years anyone that I take their really enjoys it the obvious is what they would call probably a dive but the service is sweet genuine and caring and the food is marvelous.
